Especially if you’ve decided to join any of the online support groups and forums as these jargons are used extensively within the support groups or forums. Here are some of the acronyms/jargons most commonly used:

AF - Aunt Flo = Period (menses)
BBT - Body Basal Temperature = to detect ovulation
BCP - Birth Control Pills
Beta - Blood test used to detect pregnancy
BFP - Big Fat Positive = Pregnant
BFN - Big Fat Negative = Not pregnant
BW - Blood work
CD - Cycle Day
CM - Cervical Mucus
DE - Donor Eggs
DH - Darling Husband
DPO - DaysPost Ovulation
DPR - Days Post Retrieval
DPT - Days Post Transfer
